The sixth chakra, Ajna, the brow chakra, (third eye) is considered the chakra of command, visualizing what we really desire and channeling it for the higher good of all. Located in between the eyebrows, the brow chakra is associated with inspiration, devotion, intuition, wisdom and healing. The Third eye chakra is an indigo colour and its element is composed of all elements, light and our five senses. It resonates to the tone of A, and understands the recognition of "being". This chakra connects to the part of creation, which is in our Quantum field of Love, beyond our physicality. When you feel a yearning for your true spiritual home, you are remembering your connection to this higher level of consciousness. The affirmation is "I see". With clarity and understanding we find balance and wisdom. The endocrine gland associated with the Ajna is the pituitary gland, which is known as our master gland, controlling and balancing all other glands and the Autonomic Nervous System with the root chakra. Our clairvoyance, telepathy, psychic perception, intuition and clarity of inner vision about one's purpose in life are the gifts of this energy center. We lose power when we are locked in our mental defenses such as intellectualizing and rationalizing, avoiding introspection and entertain distorted thinking. We are afraid to trust our Divine intuition. We deplete energy from our third eye when we resist learning from our life experiences, or are unable to follow through with our creative, inspiring ideas. We find ourselves blaming others for our problems. We boost and open the divine energy of this center when we trust our intuition, come to the realization that we are multi-dimensional beings and hold a vision for our purposeful lives. When we know the difference between truth and illusion and find the ability to evaluate conscious insights, we can receive inspiration, generate acts of creativity and use our intuitive reasoning. This is the Power of our Mind and our true higher self, spiritually connected to the Universal wisdom of the Divine Intelligence of pure loving consciousness.
